Selection of players for national team of Indonesia U-23 was completed this morning, Monday, January 17, 2011. However, coach Alfred Riedl is still giving players who are considered potential opportunity to defend the Red and White teams.
That includes those who are injured, such as Joko Sidik Fitra Yono (Bontang FC). Johnny was hit by injury when he joined the selection phase III, Sunday, January 16, 2011. Allegedly by Riedl, injuries occur because of their lack of physical exercise club.
"The injured player can still be a chance. As Joko (Sidik). Maybe he still could join the practice ahead against Turkmenistan (the game's first Olympic Pre Indonesia U-23)," Riedl said after practice on the Ground ABC, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday 17 January 2011.
U-23 national team selection is focused on looking for team players Pre 2012 Olympic Games and SEA Games in 2011. Monday evening will be announced the 25 players selected for the Pre Olympics. The plan, they will immediately galvanized into Training Camp, which starts on January 24, 2011.
While the players selected to the SEA Games, will temporarily be returned first to their respective clubs. They will be called again in mid-March 2011. However, it is possible some of the players selected to the Pre Olympic team will also enter the SEA Games
