Real Madrid striker, Gonzalo Higuain finally underwent successful surgery on his back in Chicago, United States. It is estimated that Argentine striker sidelined for four months.
"The operation lasted for 1 hour 15 minutes," says surgeon Richard G Fessler as reported from Spain Goal.
Although able to return within four months of grazing, Higuain has not fully recovered. New Higuain could recover 100 percent in 1 year.
"He could start within 1 week of stretching and running in 2 or 3 days. The operation went well and recovery time for about 4 months. But to recover 100 percent, it took 1 year,"said Fessler.
Fessler added 4 months is not long. Therefore, the normal time for the patient after surgery.
"I see no other complications. The disease is usually owned by football players and basketball players," he said.
