Mourinho was selected as the best coach after successfully removing Juventus coach Luigi Del Neri and Ranieri. Del Neri was previously entered into after the successful candidate to make Sampdoria to qualify for the Champions League.
While Ranieri became another candidate after delivering Giallorossi as runner up in the Scudetto and Coppa Italia 2009/2010 season.
