Benzema: "We are just 90 minutes away from reaching the quarterfinals

Karim Benzema talked to AS about the great run he's having and the forthcoming match against Lyon with.

"I've managed to find myself again and to play at my real level. I work very hard in training sessions and believe the results are obvious on the pitch. Karim's game is back. It is a game that consists of great movements and beats. Everything I do comes out well at the moment. That little bit of luck is helping me to score goals. I am very happy."

"The number of goals one scores isn't that important in the end; it is every game that counts. Each match represents a new challenge and I don't want to relax when successful. I never think of what I've already achieved when a match starts; I think about what I have to do."

"Who wants to be on the bench? No one does! I want to play every game, but that's up to Mourinho to decide. We'll see what happens on D-Day against Lyon. We are just 90 minutes away from ending the bad run the team's had in the Last 16 and reach the quarterfinals. I hope there is a large crowd to steer us towards qualifying."
