Indonesia is included in the team that was seeded second at the World Cup 2014 qualification. Then, 15 winning teams will join five top-seeded team. The 20 teams will be divided into five groups containing four teams in the third round. The match in the third round will take place from 2 September 2011 until February 9, 2012.
Two top teams from group stage in the third round will advance to the fourth round. 10 teams will be re-divided into two groups containing five teams. Two top teams in each group are entitled to four tickets at the World Cup 2014.
If Japan advanced to the fourth round, they will be placed in fifth position in his group for not playing on June 18, 2013 to facilitate the participation of Blue Samurai teams in Konfederesi Cup in Brazil in the 16 to 30 June 2013.
Two teams in the third position in the fourth round will meet each other in the fifth round in order to get a ticket through the inter-continental playoff.
