Japan League Postponed Due to Tsunami

The earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan also has its impact to the Rising Sun State football stage. Football Federation of Japan (JFA) to delay the Premier League match Japan (J-League) this weekend.

According to Reuters, the J-League will host 19 matches this weekend. But, due to the earthquake that followed the tsunami, the manager of J-League immediately suspend the entire game.

So far, the unknown fate of the Asian Champions League (LCA) and AFC Cup involving Japanese clubs. Fight-a fight that will be held mid next week was potential postponed.

The fate of the J-League players is unknown. Similarly, Japan's national players.

Japan hit by earthquake measuring 8.9 Richter scale at 14:46 local time. The quake was centered 376 km southeast of Tokyo. The quake caused tsunami eventually as high as 4 meters. Disaster on the north coast of Japan is to be the worst since the last 140 years.
