10 vs 10, Bontang & Persijap Share Point


Bontang FC finally had to settle for a 1-1 draw when entertaining Persijap Jepara in the advanced Indonesia Super League (ISL) 2010/2011, Saturday, April 23, 2011, at Taman Prestasi Stadium.

Bontang superior first goal by Kenji Adachihara in minute 16. However, Persijap able to equalize in the 44th minute through Alberto 'Beto' Goncalves.

In addition to these two goals, first-half run hard and colored two red cards for Arifki Ekaputra and Riski Novriansyah.

In the second half, both teams still having trouble concocting attack with 10 players. Several times, the host via a duet players from Japan, Satoshi Otomo and Kenji. However, the brilliant appearance goalkeeping M Yasir able to break the Bontang business.

Continue depressed, Persijap only rely on counterattacks. In minute 80, Beto individual action almost break Bontang wicket. Luckily, his shot is still capable pushed over Eddy Kurnia.

Bontang regained control of the game in second half. The attack led by Ali Khaddafi has not been able to penetrate the strong line of defense Persijap.

Fatigue seemed coloring both teams so offensive schemes always fail and can not produce a golden opportunity. Until the final whistle, the position remained strong at 1-1.

With this result, Bontang still in the position of caretaker ISL standings with a value of 13 from 22 matches. While a draw was enough Persijap for overtaking PSPS Pekanbaru in position 10. Persijap grabbed 25 points from 24 matches ,one point ahead of the PSPS.
