Ancelotti Reveals Why Play Torres

Decision manager Carlo Ancelotti to make Fernando Torres as a starter in the second leg quarter-final Champions League between Manchester United (MU) against Chelsea early this morning criticism. The Italian coach's decision was considered inappropriate.
Ancelotti vote down Torres in the early minutes with Nicolas Anelka. But, during the first 45 minutes the striker was unable to break MU's goal.

Ancelotti just change his decision in the second half after Chelsea behind 0-1 through goals Chicharito in the 43rd minute. Torres eventually replaced in the 46th minute by striker Didier Drogba, while Anelka was replaced by Salomon Kalou in the 61th minute.

"I think still a lot of time to make a decision. I was more like Fernando (Torres) was derived earlier. But Didier (Drogba) also played well in the second half," said Ancelotti as reported by IOL.

Drogba influx directly change the game the Blues. Ivory Coast players were successfully equalized in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, Drogba goal's immediately get a reply from Park Ji-sung is still in the same minute. As a result, Chelsea have to be willing knocked out of Champions League after losing aggregate 1-3 from MU.

Last weekend, word got out that Ancelotti was forced to play Torres because of pressure from Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich. However, Ancelotti insisted there was no pressure from anyone about his decision to playing Torres.

"I never wanted to know what Roman reaction if I did not play Torres," Ancelotti said last week.

Torres is the most expensive player in England. Chelsea bought from Liverpool last January with a value of £ 50 million. Unfortunately, until now there is never goal was scored by Torres since joining in last January.
