Duet 'Solid Wall' Madrid Extend Contract

Real Madrid will not worry about the defensive line next season. That's after El Real extend duo 'wall of sound' Sergio Ramos and Pepe.

"Sergio Ramos and Pepe has extended the contract with Real Madrid CF until season 2016/17 and 2015/16," the statement on the club's official website Real.

Ramos, who could serve as a right-back or middle of winning the 2010 World Cup with Spain. The 25-year defender joined Real from Sevilla in 2005.

Meanwhile, Pepe (28 years) moved to Madrid from FC Porto in 2007. Brazilian-born defender was tall, but the Portugal national team member can be duet with Ramos as a central defender or a compatriot Ricardo Carvalho.

Later, Pepe is also enabled by coach Jose Mourinho as a defensive midfielder. Although quite successful diving this new role, Mourinho seems to not impose these compatriots back into midfield next season
