Madrid Preceding Barcelona For Recruit Fabregas

Rivalry Real Madrid and Barcelona also penetrated the transfer market. According to Sky Sports News, Madrid ready to bid for Arsenal players who have been the target of Barcelona, Cesc Fabregas.

Barcelona have raised their bid for Fabregas. Barcelona president, Sandro Rosell, insists his team will not pay more than 35 million euros for Fabregas.

However, Madrid could provide a higher bid from that Champions League champions. And Madrid are believed to be spending as much as 50 million euros, or Rp620 billion, on top of Barcelona's bid of 35 million euros, or Rp434 billion.

Madrid coach, Jose Mourinho, expressed interest to sign ex Barcelonathat training academy. He sees Fabregas as the ideal transfer since last season's Los Blancos are too dependent on Xabi Alonso in midfield.

Fabregas was brought up at the Barcelona academy, La Masia, in 1997-2003 before deciding to join Arsenal in 2003. During eight seasons with the Gunners, he scored 57 goals and 100 assists from 303 appearances.
