Jose Mourinho's return did not include a striker Karim Benzema as Real Madrid continued to face Athletic Bilbao in La Liga of Spain, Saturday, April 9, 2011, even though the striker has recovered.
Benzema suffered a thigh injury since France national team defend opponents Croatia last week, and should be absent when Madrid was defeated Sporting Gijon 1-0 and when Los Blancos win 4-0 over Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League.
Benzema originally expected to be back to play against Bilbao tonight, but Mourinho still not give international France striker the chance to play. The Special One does not want to take risks to play Benzema.
German midfielder Sami Khedira also be absent because of flu, while Cristiano Ronaldo and Marcelo, who had recovered, still will be invited to Bilbao. Ricardo Kaka and Gonzalo Higuain will also play.
