Sevilla - Real Madrid

The two most recent King’s Cup champions go head-to-head in La Liga on Saturday when Real Madrid visit Sevilla at Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium. The Sevillistas remain undefeated at home during the second half of the season, but face a Madridista side that has won all three previous match againts Sevilla this season.

The first meeting between the teams was in league play and ended in a 1-0 win for Real Madrid, who then went on to eliminate Sevilla in the Cup semifinals with 0-1 and 2-0 victories.

Seeking their fifth straight road win, the Whites traveled to Seville with Mejias but without Di Maria and Carvalho, who are suspended, and Gago and Khedira, who continue nursing injuries. Sitting on 42 goals this season and one shy of his personal best, Cristiano Ronaldo also made the trip after sitting out last weekend.

No team has left the Sanchez Pizjuan with three points in tow over the last seven weeks of La Liga. Only Barcelona and Malaga managed draws, while Levante, Hercules, Sporting, Zaragoza and Villarreal have all returned home defeated.

Gregorio Manzano is without the services of the injured Rakitic, Alexis Ruano, Martin Caceres and Navas. Perotti is a game-time decision, while three youth teamers including Luis Alberto Romero, Bernardo Espinosa and Julian Cuesta will all suit up.
