JAC Sport, Solo - Djohar Arifin Husin eventually was elected Chairman of the Football Association of Indonesia in the 2011-2015 period in the PSSI Extraordinary Congress held at The Sunan Hotel Solo, Saturday, July 9, 2011.

Djohar was selected after a lengthy process. In the first round, Djohar get 53 votes.

53 votes have not been able to smooth the steps of ex staff of experts Menpora become chairman because not meet the 67 percent of the total vote. Djohar then fought back in the second round with Agusman Effendi, who obtained 39 votes. While one candidate who earn 4 votes, Japto Soerjosoemarno also qualify for the second round, but chose to resign.
