Mou Consider To Remove Captain From Casillas

Jose Mourinho is considering removing captain from Iker Casillas at Real Madrid and replace them with other players for season 2011/2012.

This news made one of the of Spain's largest sports daily, Marca, Monday, July 4, 2011. Mourinho assume the captaincy should be able to communicate with the referee during the match took place, including in the middle of the field.

By The Special One reason to consider replacing Casillas with outfield players, striker, midfielder or defender. During this time under the tutelage of Mourinho's team always has a captain who plays defender, midfielder or striker.

When dealing with Chelsea, Mourinho chose John Terry as captain. While at Inter Milan, the Portuguese coach maintains as captain Javier Zanetti.

Although no official statement from Mourinho, but Marca preach there are two players who likely replace Casillas role as captain. Both players are defender Sergio Ramos and Xabi Alonso.

Despite plans to remove the captain from Casillas, Mourinho still authorize the keeper of 30 years as leader of the team, including in the locker room.

Casillas becoming permanently Madrid captain when Raul Gonzalez to leave the Santiago Bernabeu in 2010. Casillas also served as captain of the Spanish national team.
