Player Expelled After Throwing Shoes to Referee

JAC Sport, Stoke - The match between Maccabi Tel  Aviv with Stoke City in the Europa League qualifying Group E silly event marred by one of his players, Yoav Ziv. Ziv give red card by Greek referee,  Anastassios Kakosafter after throwing shoes to the linesman.

The incident occurred when Ziv scramble the ball with Stoke players, Cameron Jerome at the Britannia Stadium, England, Thursday, October 20, 2011. Ziv who lost in physical fights pushed to the sidelines with a left shoe that nearly slipped after Jerome trampled.

Ziv seems upset and wail directly into the linesman who was standing nearby. However, the courts did not even give any sign of violation and ask for Ziv continue the match.

Upset by the reaction, Ziv reflex kicking her left shoe toward the line judge. White shoes were 'successful' landing in the body of the court which directly react by raising a flag mark infringement.

Ziv is aware of the act foolishly, immediately apologized. However, the linesman did not move and reported the 'persecution' was the match referee. Without mercy, Ziv immediately given a red card.


The match  itself ended with Maccabi 0-3 defeat from Stoke. These results make the Israeli  club retained as a key Group E standings by one point from three matches. (sources : vivanews.com and google.com)
