Anelka Officially to Join Shanghai Shenhua

JAC Sport, Shanghai - No more a place in the Chelsea first team, striker Nicolas Anelka moved to the club Shanghai Shenhua. Anelka will defend the team that competed in China's Super League with the duration of the contract during the next three years.

As reported by theworldgame.sbs.com.au, Anelka has agreed to offer from Shanghai Shenhua. Together with the Blue Devils, Anelka gets a salary of Rp1, 2 billion each week and will start  his appearancefrom January next.

Anelka has strengthened Chelsea since 2008. Trafficked Anelka from Bolton Wanderers on January 11, 2008 by bandrol of 15 million pounds, equivalent Rp212 billion. With Chelsea, Anelka has scored 38 goals from 125 matches.

Anelka had become the mainstay of front-line of the Blues. But lately it has been rarely gets the chance. Even in early December last, Chelsea coach, Andre Villas-Boas announced to the media that Chelsea allow Anelka moved to the club.


Some of the club intends to recruit Anelka. Starting from the team's Serie A, AC Milan, West Ham United, and New York Red Bulls. But Anelka chose to join Shanghai Shenhua, who finished in 11th China Super League 2011.
