According to The Sun, Chelsea manager, Andre Villas-Boas has plans to bid for Cahill of eight million euros in the winter transfer window, January. In order to lure the attention of Bolton, Chelsea are also ready to lend McEachran as part of the transaction.
Cahill contract with Bolton will expire at the end of this season. Therefore, the club is based at the Reebok Stadium in January it would prefer to sell it later rather than lose it for free at the end of the season.
