Liverpool 2 (14)-(13) 2 Middlesbrough


An fantastic match in Capital One Cup between Liverpool against Middlesbrough on Wednesday in early morning. Liverpool passed the first round of the Capital One difficulty. After a 2-2 draw in 120 minutes more, the Reds should ensure victory by a shootout that ended with the score 14-13

Liverpool goal in normal time scored by Jordan Rossiter in the 10th minute
but Boro equalised with Adam Reach header. While the other goal was made by Suso at minute 109 and very late goal by Patrick Bamford through penalty kick at minute 120+3.






Boro's first penalty from Bamford was saved by Mignolet, but Raheem Sterling who Liverpool's fifth kicker had failed and send the shootout to sudden death.

All penalties were succeeded including both goalkeeper. And the last one, Adomah, missed and made Liverpool passed for the second round of the Capital One Cup.
