Hierro Remove Spain Technical Director Position

Fernando Hierro took off his post as Technical Director of the Spain Football Federation (RFEF). Hierro denies rumors of salary to the cause the problems.

Hierro is one of the important actors behind the successful Spanish national team won the European Cup in 2008 and World Cup 2010. Former Real Madrid defender is really helping coach Vicente Del Bosque to make a success of La Furia Roja.

Spanish media proclaim the main reason Hierro left the RFEF because demand salary increase which was rejected. However, through the official site RFEF, rfef.es, Hierro has denied this.

"No problems with the federation, or by the president and others. It was four years old and I am sure this is a good time to give priority to other aspects of my life," said Hierro.

Hierro will leave after his contract with RFEF expired on June 30, 2011. And RFEF ensure only Hierro who left the post in the RFEF. "The other RFEF technique will not be changed, and this is RFEF desire for them to continue to perform their functions,"the official statement RFEF.
