United States 1-0 Panama

United States proved itself as one of the CONCACAF giants. Had struggled in qualifying, Bob Bradley's foster children eventually successfully penetrate the CONCACAF Gold Cup final.

In the semi-finals which took place in Relliant Stadium, Houston, Texas Thursday, June 23, 2011 overthrew host Panama with the score 1-0. Earlier, in the group stage C, the two teams met. At that time Panama give surprised after overthrew the U.S. 2-1.

Not wanting to be embarrassed again, the U.S. tried to retaliate in the game this time by trying to control the game from the first round. Panama also seeks to attack, but the tough defense to do Carlos Bocanegra et al make them difficult to penetrate the nets host.
